QuizBet Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of QuizBet — a multiplayer quiz application available as a website, PWA and mobile app — operated by the QuizBet service provider reachable at support@quizbet.app. By creating an account, joining a game or purchasing a subscription you accept these terms.

The service

QuizBet lets registered users generate quizzes with AI assistance, create and host multiplayer games, and lets guests join games through invitation links or QR codes without creating an account. Quiz content is generated by third-party AI models and may contain errors; the game host is responsible for reviewing generated questions before play.

Accounts and guest access

Registered users must keep their credentials confidential and are responsible for activity on their account.
Guests join individual games via an invitation token and receive a short-lived, game-scoped session. Guest access is not an account.
You can delete your account at any time in My Profile or at quizbet.app/account-deletion. Deleting an account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it first as described below.

QuizBet Pro subscription

Paid subscriptions on the web are sold by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record: Paddle processes the payment, collects applicable taxes, issues the receipt and handles billing enquiries. Subscriptions in the mobile apps are processed by the respective app store.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Prices and billing periods are shown before checkout.
You can cancel at any time in My Profile, through the Paddle customer portal linked in your purchase receipt, or via the app-store subscription settings. Access continues until the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy for details.
Free accounts include a limited monthly quota of AI quiz generations shown in the app. When the quota is exhausted, generating quizzes and hosting games requires Pro; joining friends' games remains free.

Acceptable use

Do not use QuizBet to create or share unlawful, harassing or infringing content, to attack or disrupt the service or other players, to scrape or reverse-engineer it, or to circumvent quotas, access controls or billing. We may suspend or remove accounts and guest sessions that violate these terms.

Availability and liability

QuizBet is provided "as is" and we work to keep it available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free AI-generated content. To the extent permitted by law, QuizBet is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or the statutory rights of consumers.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when QuizBet or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date remain available at this address.
